13 – 15 September 2013
Moll Springs, Huddersfield
In September 2013 Moll Springs Mill was the location for the very first Out of Hours Collective show. A former silk dyeing mill and now a stone workshop, the site offered a working industrial space in which to exhibit an exciting collection of new artwork created in response to the exhibition’s location.
The opening night saw upwards of 150 visitors in attendance, with many more visiting over the course of the weekend, and brought a bustling atmosphere to the old mill that had not been felt since its industrial heyday. The works displayed encompassed a diverse range of practices including stone-carving, printmaking, drawing, painting and sculpture.
